The role of the Patient and Community Advisory Committee is to provide us with advice on matters relevant to our mandate from the perspective of users of the Canadian health care system. Advice given relates to how we approach and undertake its work. The committee is not involved in individual assessments.
We value the contributions made by patient groups and patients to individual assessments. Opportunities for all stakeholders to share their ideas and feedback on process change, our events, and individual assessments remain open. The Patient and Community Advisory Committee complements — rather than replaces — existing involvement.
We invite those of you interested in the information shared with the advisory committee, its ideas and advice offered to us, to read our meeting summaries.
